Paul McCartney is an icon. In recent interviews, he has said that songs “come to him”. He will sit at the piano or a guitar and play different combinations of notes until he hears a melody and then builds the song around it. Pure genius doesn’t describe what he is or what he represents in the music community.
If ever there was something good to come out of lockdown, it has to be the creativity from the music community. Sir Paul doesn’t disappoint.
