Shenandoah Is More Than A River, Or Band

We did some research about the song “Shenandoah”, you know the song every chorus has sung for the Spring concert for a hundred years. Did you know it isn’t about a river? It tells the tale of Sally, the daughter of the Indian Chief Shenandoah, who is courted for seven years by a white Missouri river trader. WHO KNEW?????

It has nothing to do with this post about the BAND Shenandoah. They have a rerecording of their famous song called “Sunday In The South” with Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan. Give it a listen.
