The name Switchfoot comes from a surfing term meaning to literally switch positions of your feet while on the board. Who knew? The band had success with their last album in 2019 with the single “Native Tongue”. So much so that they released an EP this year of a half dozen songs including this one “Swim Good” originally done by Frank Ocean. Which I guess you have to be able to do if your Switchfoot messes up while surfing.
