We made up a word.

Polyjamerous.

It means loving different styles of music at the same time.

And we’re pretty sure a lot of you are.

For years, the music business has tried to put listeners into boxes. You’re a rock fan. A country fan. An R&B fan. An alternative fan. A jazz fan.

But is that really how you listen to music?

It isn’t how we do it.

We can go from a screaming guitar solo to a great country song. From funk to alternative. From blues to pop to soul. Sometimes all in the same afternoon.

We don’t care much about the label attached to the music.

We care whether it’s good.

That’s one of the reasons Masters Radio sounds different.

Our only real boundary isn’t genre. It’s our mission: finding great NEW music from established artists who have been creating for at least 20 years.

That can mean U2 followed by a country artist. Soft Cell alongside something heavier. A legendary soul singer next to an alternative band.

And we love that.

Music discovery shouldn’t mean staying inside the lines someone else drew around your taste.

It should mean hearing something and thinking:

Damn. I like this.

So the next time somebody asks what kind of music you listen to, you have a new answer.

I’m polyjamerous.
