Don Henley
About
Don Henley is an American singer, songwriter, and musician who rose to prominence as a founding member of the Eagles, one of rock music's most influential bands. Serving as drummer, vocalist, and songwriter, Henley helped shape the Eagles' signature sound and contributed to some of their most iconic tracks, including "Witchy Woman," "Desperado," "Best of My Love," "One of These Nights," "Hotel California," "Life in the Fast Lane," and "The Long Run." When the Eagles disbanded in 1980, Henley had already established himself as a vital creative force within the band's carefully crafted rock aesthetic.
Following the Eagles' initial breakup, Henley embarked on a substantial solo career, releasing five studio albums that showcased his talents as both vocalist and songwriter. His solo discography includes I Can't Stand Still (1982), Building the Perfect Beast (1984), The End of the Innocence (1989), Inside Job (2000), and Cass County (2015), along with numerous successful singles. When the Eagles reunited in 1994, Henley continued to balance his solo work with the band's enduring legacy, cementing his status as a cornerstone of American rock music whose contributions span decades and continue to resonate with audiences worldwide.
