Donald Edwin Vandevelde, known professionally as Donnie Vie, is an American musician, singer, and songwriter who emerged as a defining voice in glam metal. As the main songwriter and lead vocalist of Enuff Z'Nuff, Vie co-founded the band in 1984 alongside bassist Chip Z'Nuff in Blue Island, Illinois. Originally performing under the name "Enough Z'Nuff," the band quickly developed a devoted live following while recording early demo songs that would later receive official release. By 1989, the group had refined their name to "Enuff Z'Nuff" and achieved a major breakthrough with their self-titled debut album on Atco Records, establishing themselves as a force in the rock and metal landscape of the era.
