Donovan Phillips Leitch was a Scottish musician, songwriter, and record producer who emerged from the British folk scene in early 1965, quickly establishing himself as one of the era's most distinctive voices. His breakthrough came as he blended folk, pop, psychedelia, and jazz into a signature sound that captured the spirit of the flower power movement. Throughout the late 1960s, Donovan scored numerous international hit singles and albums that showcased his innovative approach to songwriting and arrangement. He passed away in 2024.
