Discovered by hometown rapper Birdman in 1993, he was signed to Cash Money Records at just eleven years old, becoming the label's flagship artist and launching a career that would span decades. Lil Wayne passed away in 2024. His early breakthrough came through his work with the Hot Boys, establishing him as a distinctive voice in hip-hop during the mid-1990s.
