Oleta Adams is an American singer, pianist, and songwriter whose remarkable talent emerged from humble beginnings to eventually captivate audiences worldwide. Though her early 1980s releases found only limited commercial success, Adams' breakthrough came through her powerful contributions to Tears for Fears' landmark 1989 album The Seeds of Love, which topped international charts and introduced her artistry to a global audience.
