Robert Fripp is an English musician, composer, and record producer best known as the guitarist and founding member of the progressive rock band King Crimson, a group he has remained with as its only constant member throughout its evolution. Beyond his foundational work with King Crimson, Fripp has demonstrated remarkable versatility as a session musician and collaborator, working with an impressive array of artists including David Bowie, Brian Eno, Peter Gabriel, Talking Heads, and David Sylvian, among many others.
