Ronnie Lee Milsap is an American country music singer and pianist who emerged as one of the most influential voices in country music during the 1970s and 1980s. Nearly completely blind from birth, Milsap defied expectations to become a virtuoso performer and one of country's most successful crossover artists. His innovative approach blended country with pop, R&B, and rock and roll elements, allowing him to appeal simultaneously to country and mainstream pop audiences.
