David Nesta "Ziggy" Marley emerged as one of reggae's most compelling voices, carrying forward a legendary musical legacy as the eldest son of Bob Marley and Rita Marley. As the leader of Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers, he helmed the family band through eight studio albums before the group disbanded in 2002, establishing himself as a gifted songwriter, producer, and performer in his own right.
