U2 formed in Dublin in 1976. Fifty years later, there’s still a date to circle on the calendar. Carnaval de Luz, the band’s first album of new songs since 2017, is due November 13.
We’ve already had a reason to spend time with new U2 music this fall. “Street Of Dreams” took the No. 1 spot on our October Masters Radio Top 100. Now we get to sit down with a whole album and see which songs stick with us after a few listens.
There’s a particular pleasure in hearing a band you’ve known for decades do something you haven’t heard before. You know the voices and the way they play together. You still don’t know what the next song will do.
That’s the feeling we built Masters Radio around. And it’s why we’re looking forward to November 13.
Masters Radio is making their voices heard…again.
