Tom Jones is still bringing it. His latest cover of Clapton’s “Not Dark Yet” has so many deeper meanings. These times look dark to a lot of people. They looked dark during the Cuban Missile Crisis, both World Wars, all the way back to the story of Noah and the Flood. The last one being a story told in different versions around the world. The point is that things can always seem dark and the “chicken little response” will always be promoted by people in society. It is the person who looks beyond and ignores the naysayers that is the happiest.
