Dr. John has released a new album, Things Happen That Way, posthumor…posthemor…after he died. The album is filled with duets, which “End of the Line” is one with Aaron Neville. Malcolm John Rebennack Jr. was John’s real name and his iconic personality will always be tied to New Orleans.
John was best known for his song “Right Place, Wrong Time.” Yet, he was known by many generations, including the youngsters for his song in Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. Dr. John sang the opening tune, “Down in New Orleans” which appropriately highlighted the place he really called home.
