Forgive the blasphemy with the nod to worshiping a band. Stryper is one of the few bands to cross genres, or at least perform in a genre one would not expect them to be in. Billed as a Christian Metal band, they still seem to make a mark in the metal genre without shoving any religious belief in your face. Hopefully, you get the message without the preaching. It is great music what ever you believe in.
One other fact that I TOTALLY missed is that the lead singer/guitarist, Michael Sweet, had joined and toured with the band Boston back in 2008. Although I only saw Boston with Brad Delp, I’m sure the sound was still amazing. Seeing Boston back in 1986 is still one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen.
