The Foo Fighters get their name from what WWII pilots saw when flying missions. They are supposed to represent Unidentified Flying Objects. The pilots, not the band. Although, maybe Dave Grohl @davegrohl #davegrohl is REALLY not from this planet! Somebody call Tom DeLonge.
