Elvis Costello is an English singer/songwriter who has won Grammy Awards both in 1999 and 2020 and was also nominated twice for the Brit Award for Best British Male Artist. Costello formed the Attractions as his backing band in the 1970’s, however they ended up splitting in 1986. Costello remains a solo artist with his songs being unique and containing a wide vocabulary and frequent wordplay.
