Timmy Torres (born September 21, 1967), known best as Timmy T, is a freestyle performer and musician. Timmy T started out in the 1980s in small rap groups in Fresno, but felt that he would rather do dance music. His career took off when he purchased a Moog synthesizer and a Roland TR-808 drum machine at a pawn shop. This led to the recording of his first single, “Time After Time” in his garage.
