So, I’m confused. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that knows me. Midnight Oil put out a press release in February stating that they would release two albums this year. The first album would be recorded with the First Nations people and be called The Makarrata Project. Then, later in the year, they would release a new album on their own. The Makarrata Project was slated to come out in June or July 2020. My favorite large company in the world that rhymes with Pamazon has no record, no pun intended, of the first release. Singles were supposed to come out first and none can be found. This leads me to believe that it may have been a victim of the Covid lockdown. If anyone could find reference to either album or connect me with one of the Midnight Oil guys, I sure would appreciate it. I had three other jokes to write, but will spare all of you the pain.
