Sad to hear of another one of our favorite artists, Jimmy Buffett. Probably to the chagrin of a friend in college who used to play at a local bar on weekends, I sang many a Buffett song harmony after a few bottles of liquid courage. Buffett’s music just made us feel good. Hear a few notes of one of them and you are instantly brought back to great memories of sand, surf, and a great sea side bar of your youth. The presence of his music was a must at any summer gathering. The lyrics were known by young and old with the tradition of being a parrot head being passed down through the decades. We are sure that wherever Jimmy has docked his boat the final time, he will rest easy knowing his fans will toast him one last time.
