The Struts teaming up with Brian May for “Could Have Been Me” is like strapping a jet engine to a glitter cannon — gloriously unnecessary and absolutely perfect. Luke Spiller belts like he’s auditioning for a Mercury séance while Brian May drops riffs that could part clouds. It’s loud, theatrical, and probably leaves sequins in your speakers.
It’s the collaboration you didn’t know you needed but now can’t stop replaying. If rock ‘n’ roll ever needed a coronation, this track would be the confetti bomb at the end.
