Peace, Love, and a Little Mayhem

Kasabian does not do soft focus nostalgia. Hippie Sunshine might nod to flower power, but it delivers it with swagger and a sideways grin. The groove is infectious, layered with that slightly unhinged cool they wear so well.

There is irony in the title and intention in the execution. It feels loose but never lazy. Kasabian understands that rebellion evolves. Sometimes it just wears brighter colors.
