Lawrence “Kris” Parker, also known as KRS One, is an American rapper and occasional producer from Bronx, New York. He became popularized by the hip hop group Boogie Down Productions and later continued as a solo artist. KRS One is considered as an influence to numerous hip hop artists, as he is politically active and a vegan activist as well.
