Jethro Tull is back with “The Zealot Gene.” How long have they been around? Not long enough in our minds. The band are named after the 18th-century British agriculturist, Jethro Tull. This Tull also had several hits on the charts back in the day. There was “Hoe”, which was later covered by Ludacris and a BIG hit for both artists. Although, they were spelled differently.
In all serious, why start now, I have always loved Jethro Tull. Ian Anderson made the flute cool in a bunch of Tull songs over the years. Who are we kidding! Flute and cool shouldn’t be in the same sentence. However, with Jethro Tull, it works.
