Keith Sweat, is an R&B singer/songwriter famous for not only his own works but in his collaborations with other artists. He played a vital role in co-producing the 1984/1985 singles by GQ and Roberta Gilliam. Keith Sweat than issued his own singles ("Lucky Seven" and "My Mind Is Made Up").
Keith Sweat, is an R&B singer/songwriter famous for not only his own works but in his collaborations with other artists. He played a vital role in co-producing the 1984/1985 singles by GQ and Roberta Gilliam. Keith Sweat then issued his own singles (“Lucky Seven” and “My Mind Is Made Up”).
Later in 1987 Keith moved on to publishing full-length album for Elektra, Make It Last Forever. This album sold over three million copies, with hits such as “I Want Her” (the song had rankings number one in R&B and number five in pop), “Something Just Ain’t Right” (number three R&B), “Make It Last Forever” (number two R&B) just to name several.
In 1990 Keith debuted I’ll Give All My Love to You, which became another million-seller, that featured another song “Make You Sweat” (creating rankings in both R&B and pop charts).
Sweat remained to be a major force in R&B throughout the 90’s as he recorded the occasional contemporary set, including Get Up on It (1994), Keith Sweat (1996), and Still in the Game(1998).
Fun Fact: Keith hosts a radio program called the Sweat Hotel which is dedicated to R&B artists from the ’70s to the present.
