Steve Harley (born February 27 1951) is an English singer and songwriter, best known as frontman of the rock group Cockney Rebel, which still tours to this day. Harley started his musical career playing in bars and clubs n 1971, mainly at folk venues on open-mike nights. After the folk scene proved not to be his preference, he then formed the band Cockney Rebel in late 1972.
