Tommy James (April 29, 1947) is an American rock, psychedelic rock musician, singer/songwriter, and record producer, widely known as the leader of the 1960s rock band Tommy James and the Shondells. To this day, over 300 musicians have recorded versions of James’ music. Covers of James’ songs went top ten on the Hot 100 in the 1980s and his music continues to be popular amongst many platforms.
