Wendy James (January 1966) is an English singer/songwriter popularly known for her work with the pop band Transivision vamp. She was the lead singer and focal point of the group. When Transivision vamp split up, James asked Elvis Costello for guidance, and he wrote a full album’s worth of material for James. She continued a solo career after this and still tours to this day.
