Nel Ust Wyclef Jean is a Haitian raper, musician, and actor who came to America with his family when he was nine years ago. He became popularized as a member of the New Jersey hip hip group the Fugees. The band released The Score album in 1996, which later became one of the best selling albums of all time. Jean has continued in a solo career and has won three Grammy Awards and a Golden Globe Award nomination for his musical work.
